People dedicated to the planet (and their corner of it)
Our mission starts with people. Support from our members, donors, and those who give major gifts are how we do work by the millions. Our members provide a range of support, from a few dollars a year to major gifts, and this generosity makes our mission happen. Individuals also give gifts of trees that support planting in forests of greatest need. And purchases from our nursery do double duty — bringing the benefits of trees to yards and supporting planting projects around the world.

We help corporations live their values and restore balance on the planet. That comes to life through vetted carbon projects, reforestation work that safeguards climate, community, and biodiversity, and local initiatives that give back to employees and hometowns. No matter their environmental goals, we connect them with planting projects creating layers of good.
Those planning and facilitating community forestry
Municipalities, campuses, and utilities all play important roles in supporting what a successful community canopy can look like. When they partner with us, we help provide a framework for their urban forestry ecosystem to thrive. We also coordinate tree distribution capabilities, networking, education resources, and granting opportunities, so they are equipped to support trees at a local level.
